The saga of baker memorial girls high school goes  way back to the year 1819.The missionary society on the Indian soil. Amelia  Dorothea  Baker wife of Henry Baker ,realizing that  a whole society can be developed if its women are educated .,lost no time in starting female education.in 1820 ,Baker school  was born and with it the history of women s education in  kerala

          The motto "Love Never Faileth' which has been the theme of the school.                                         .
